MEMBERSHIP STATUS

  • Full Membership

  • Affiliation (Fellowship) – for those who desire to fellowship while making a decision on a more permanent commitment. 

 

  • Full Membership would receive all the benefits of full membership in the Fellowship – Participation in Tiers of Leadership.  All pastors, missionaries and other local leaders would be eligible to hold leadership seats/positions.  Full membership would be requirement to pay full financial fees for the Fellowship.

 

  • Affiliation would receive customized benefits as fellowship affiliation.  Affiliates would have a reduced financial reporting system.  Affiliates would not be eligible to hold upper leadership seats/positions in Fellowship but would be allowed to function in any capacity on Local level.

 

Ministry Appointments:  The Fellowship will not give ministry appointments as a condition to join organization.  All appointments will be given based on competency, faithfulness, experience and zeal to work.

 

Officers – Anyone should apply for available positions and must be willing to spend specified time of observation.

 

Recruitment:

A.        Pastors/Churches

            1.         Complete recruitment application

            2.         Meet with Recruiting Team to verify validity

3.         Must have more than 12 members to be considered a church.  Anything less than 12 members would be considered a mission church outreach.

Training & Development
• Implement Church Growth Empowerment workshops
• Organize Empowerment Retreats for Pastors and Staff
• Initiate Resource Center for grants, daycares, after-school and other community programs
• Strengthening of Christian Education Departments to better serve the local ministers, missionaries and church workers
• Provide developmental courses for new Pastors and Leaders
• Develop Administrative Guide Books for local churches

• Develop detailed leadership expectations to improve effectiveness and productivity

 

Economic Empowerment
• Provide consultation for new building purchases or expansion projects
• Launch credit union to promote financial independence for local churches
• Establish life insurance & retirement plans for all Pastors
• Develop a budget committee to help oversee the finances and properties

 

Church Growth & Marketing Strategies

• Promote local ministries via billboards, bus stop signage, radio, television and website

• Sponsor strategic area revivals to encourage growth and spiritual impact

• Encourage growth in jurisdictions and districts by opening our doors to independent pastors who are looking for the kind of fellowship we represent

• Provide resources for local churches for Audio/Visual equipment, website development and management, and other vehicles of mass communication

• Devise systematic plan to plant churches throughout the State of Louisiana, the United States and on the African Continent

 

Community Relations & Outreach

• Support a shelter for individuals dealing with mental illness in need of short-term housing and restoration
• Drug and alcohol recovery centers
• Establish the Hampton Memorial Foundation to ensure worthy programs are continued
